New Directions for this preacher

I resigned my pastorate last Sunday to begin a career as an itinerant preacher, evangelist and church growth consultant. My last pastorate at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church in Walhalla, SC lasted 14 years and was very rewarding. This is a large multi staffed church that required all of my time and efforts leaving little energy or time for evangelism and mission work. With this resignation I am now free to go where ever I am needed and called to do ministry.

The course I teach called "Preaching with Power" has become very popular and I am spending a lot more time with it. Especially with consulting with my students across the USA. To learn to preach you need guidance and a teacher who has sucessfully mastered the craft. Of course you also need the inspiration of God. I have really enjoyed communicating with my students this past year.
